In 2010 we are expanding our plus size collection !
One of the main complaints we hear from our brides is that a lot of shops do not stock any sample wedding dresses bigger than a size 10. Since the day we opened, 22 years ago, we have stocked wedding dresses up to a size 34.
This year were taking a step forward and have decided to take on 2 more designers that specialise in plus size bridal. Their dresses are cut differently to flatter a larger figure and are extremely well corseted to ensure a nipped in waist. (both the models used in our photos are a size 22)
Some of the staff at Special occasions are plus sized themselves. This in itself has proved popular with brides, often commenting that they felt more comfortable getting undressed infront of a plus sized sales assistant.
